Wow! That's astonishing! With Maya you have designed and created every single piece of the work (pipes, fences...), or did you take it from wlsewere and just put it together? I'm interested in learning how to use Zbrush and Maya for hard surfaces, but I'm just a beginner (and still fighting with the Zbrush interface xD)

It was created in maya only, no zbrush or anything (as far as i can remember, it was quite a few years ago).
Alot of the stuff is repeated in the scene, so i don't have to make to many pieces to make it be big.
All i can say is use tutorals and practice, practice, practice

Oh, dude that's awesome work! I love the lighting.
You just can easily tell when a set works or not... it has to feel alive somehow,
and yours does exactly that. It gives me an impression of an actual place that
someone might wok in or operate.

thank you, it took some time to get a nice lighting on this one, and I still feel it is a bit to dark. I am gonna try do another version of the lighting so that you can see all the details, since there is more to scene than you can see here.
