Not significant enough to bring about victories on their own, yet annoying enough to do some serious disruption, these disproportionately-armed ragtag bunch of jury-rigged machines are begrudgingly favoured by many commanders to just tip the scales at any field of battle, mostly doing tactical hit-and-run work and being meat-shields that viciously fire back. They are piloted by some of the most reckless and disorganized hooligans in the military who have seen their fair share of hardened action, with little respect for rules except their own code.

Sometimes called Phoenix Babies, these gun platforms are rumoured to have been quickly put together around the salvaged engines of crashed gunships and fighter planes by their hardcore ship commanders and pilots who just don't know how to give up. Bless them all.
