I'd say! Yea they're pretty cramped in there. The entire front section - glass canopy and belly section - opens to allow the pilot in. Then she straps herself in to a standing-chair, pulls close the canopy, and take flight.

That sounds like a blast!  (Pun intended.)  Lots of hostile environments out there where armor, flight capabilities, and a hi-ex punch would be a great advantage.

I was thinking about super-micro armoured combat suits - not the knights’-suit-of-armour kind, but rather ‘vehicular’ ones that you can climb aboard and pilot, and about how ridiculous - and amazing - that if ever such a thing was implemented, that people would actually put their trust in the relative safety of being inside such things that their fragile bodies would be protected in a heavy armed conflict.

Here i just wanted to ramp up the ‘micro’ part a little, and see where i could go with my take on this genre of machine.
