found an old sketch that I scanned in awhile agoi have this giant folder of "i'll get to it later" images LOL
and in this case I actually got to it!
on the left is the original pen drawing in my sketchbook and on the right is a close up of the face---work in progress of course
face will change i'm sure...and i haven't decided if i'll bother with the body---i seem to focus on detailed faces lately

Love the dirty feel of the flesh already. Those teeth look toxic, and vicious, can feel them tearing into my flesh every time i look at them. its a good contrast to the traditional looking gargoyle sence the flesh seems so soft as compared to the stone images everyone is so accoustom too. Am tempted to tell u to make an ajustment in one area but i wont do this because i dont want you to second guess your original idea or contaminate your focus just enjoy yourself as usual and i will tear it apart when u are Done!

hmm...funny cuz in my head i meant creature or demon when i titled it gargoyle...or maybe its the creature that the stone gargoyles are modelled after? or maybe i should just rename it demon lol

I dont like to say what I think in most cases because I think that this might impact what You do finally, And then it would not be You or your original Pure tought any more. Scence I dont think this is commercial Work, and most works that are not commercial usually have more depth and originality freedom and "cant explain, put my finger on it factor" in them, is why i would rather not.
Your IDIVISUAL VISION and thought process is very important scence there will only be one of You Ever. Its the only thiing that sets you apart and brings new ideas and ways of seeong that will infulnce generations to come. So where ever there is an opportunity for You (anyone) to freely explore this i will always try not to interfere to kill or abort peoples children (ideas). You get enough of that working for clients
