I know ppl that prefer a tablet-and others that prefer the cintiq
I love this thing!
I have wished for one ever since I first saw photoshop 1or2 though haha.
its very expensive and I don't recommend getting one unless you can easily afford one-or if you work professionally and can justify the expense etc.
in the end, it's not necessary but definitely fun.
you can do the same quality art with a regular tablet btw

I like that I can tell what everything is made of. The cloth looks like cloth and the skin has the texture of skin.Often even when things have a great composition,color scheme and design they are still missing the correct surface detail(my work included)

That is some fish head'd body alright. Freaky looking too, as I can imagine it being a good pick for a space romp sci-fi horror movie. He/it could even be a main character of some sort of story, like him bountying on some strange world as he's looking for answers to his condition (sorry just imagining quick thoughts here). Heh, and don't worry, with what you've got going on, I doubt much anyone's gonna get sick of this picture before it's done. I certainly won't. Keep it up.

No prob man. Sorry I'm so late in replying, just kinda been busy lately, but I'm glad you took the time to reply. I know how it feels the misplace stuff you're workin' on, it really sucks, 'specially when you're aching to work on it at that very moment. I, personally, just have terrible organization skills, but I'm trying to work on it. Regardless, I'm really hopin' you find those sketches, 'cuz I'd love to see them some time (for all I know you could have them up by now since it's been a few days,....I'll check out your page and see. Here's hoping), and it doesn't really matter if they're finished or not, just as long as they're there. Good luck findin' those drawings.

its one of those sketches that will turn up in 3yrs randomly as I clean up my crazy messy unorganized papers that I've placed in some 'at the time very logical and easy to remember place' but in reality was just a spot to plop it down lazily and forget about
uh...but ya uh if I do find them and they're worth posting I'll be sure to put it off...er do it right away! ahhaah

Pretty funny, man. Sounds like some stuff I'd do. Making things worse, my room isn't even that big, so it's pretty hard to spaciously organize stuff b/c it'll eventually get in the way of something else. Needless to say, I'll spare the details of just how much old crap I have (and still wanna keep; sometimes old ideas just need to wait a while before they're needed again) and how sloppy it's all organized. Hopefully I can get enough storage space to keep it all organized; REALLY trying to get better organized over here, but it's so tough.
I'm sure those pictures would be worth posting for some reason or another, whether a masterpiece or a quick sketch. It's just fun looking at art in general, I think, regardless the quality. If it's awesome, it gives you something to really talk about. If it's not so awesome, well, there's still stuff to talk about. Your stuff falls into the former catagory, though, and deservedly (? spelling) so.

I'm sure its the artists' mind (my excuse) rather than the space u have--just look to crowed places (like japan) for examples of how they get over the restrictive space problem
as for organizing..i'm also slowly overcoming this challenge--part of succeeding is actually truly believing its a real problem! the more seriously i take organization the better i can tackle it--i've always SAID i'll get better at it but never really believed it...ugh
anyways, i shoud probably go clean something

Hehe, good pointers, bro, good pointers. Like I said before, my room's painfully small, but I should probably start looking at things so that I should, you know, try envisioning as much space as possible. I could try stacking a lot of the junk too, I suppose. My only big concern's with having it all readily accessible, just in case I'm in the mood to look at some older stuff. If what I want's buried under a bunch of other stuff, I'll be less bound to even try and get it 'cuz I KNOW I'll make it a bigger mess; that's just the way I am. And it certainly don't help that I have some lazy fingers at times. But hey, if they can do it in Japan--so far as stay so organized with their stuff and have so much stuff and people on that tiny little island--, then hell, I aughta should too. Time to start thinking more conservatively with my space around me.
And yeah man, I know how much it sucks when you tell yourself you're gonna get on the ball and REALLY solve a problem (in you an' mine's case, organization suckage), but you just never do it. It just never seems like a big a deal to fix,...which is why it never gets dealt with. Personally, I'm gonna probably forcibly give myself a nightmare where all my junk just beats the living shit out of me and dust mites turn my room into their new kingdom. I'm sure that'll motivate me to get on the ball then (hehe)! Peace out, bro.

Yeppers sure thing. Actually my room's looking like shit now; I think I get progressively more lazy with it as days go by, and it was pretty clean an' organized just days back. It's like a mental gnome's in my head that starts dancing a fool if I see my room being too organized and tidy for too long. What the hell is up with that I'll never quite know.

Well the funny hats DO add a touch of life to 'em, but I'm tellin' 'ya man; get like an army of those things to stare you in the face, and you're gonna be freaked the hell out,....well,....I would. I don't care if they got a message from Santa or not (and yes, I know THAT is what elves do, but gnomes are probably just elves out doin' their thing when winter's not happening anyway); they can keep it, unless of course they have my presents. I'll keep 'em around and throw a jacuzzi party with 'em dressed in rubber girl outfits if they do that (hehe)!!!
