Training pictures for Tommy and Rose, and a some ranting about Tommys story at WWS, written as a text in one of Alvas Journals. (Yes she keeps a journal, it's a great way to get WWS history down )

I know I haven't told Rose's story from when she came to WWS, but when I started HARPG I didn't start the stable from scratch, I just jumped into it, so things have happened that I have not drawn og written :3

Hard work. That’s what it is. Ever since Little Rose came to Wedgewood, Tommy had taken on the responsibility to train her. It was like the two of them had something special. When she first came to us he could barely touch her, but he slowly won her trust, and now he could ride her almost without tack. It has been great to watch them develop, not only Rose, but Tommy as well. It’s like he’s grown up. He used to be a stable boy, cleaning, feeding, taking horses in and out, saddle them, tack off, all the shit jobs. When he asked if I could buy the racing horse Emerald Dream, I had no idea what I should with her, but I did it for him, he loved horses so much, and maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to give him the responsibility for a horse. He was a trained jockey after all, perhaps he missed the racing. He did everything right with her, everything I expected, but he wasn’t overjoyed. I asked him if something was wrong, but he insisted that everything was great. When Rose came to the stable however, it was like he was filled with new life, and he would do everything for the mare. My plan was that me and Russell would train her, but Tommy showed such an interest. Guess I hade the right decision. Rose is like a new horse, and so is Tommy. Even Emerald seemed to develop more after Tommy started training Rose. He even entered her in a race, something he had never wanted before. Thank you Rose, for coming to our stable.
