Description
Thank you everyone for the DD!Gazelf. Hybrid of a gazelle and an elf. Clay maquette sculpture, about 16" high.
Her story is that she is in the forest with a larger creature. They are a pair, a team, tracking someone or something. I wasn't sure, but he would have been anthropomorphic as well. He is not all he seems, however, and as she's bending down to either drink from a pool, or check tracking marks for their quarry they are following, he is pulling out his weapon to make a quick end to her life, as he has turned or become corrupt, and planned this sinister act from the beginning of the trap. She is just now sensing the danger from her companion and is rising to react.

Thank you. Yes, of course! I used Y2Klay from Chavant. It's an automotive styling clay, very hard, but you can actually sand, polish and torch the surface to get a nice smooth look.

I'm not sure who would be a distributor near you. You can give them a call directly and ask though, and they might ship directly from the company. You'll need a hotbox though, as it's so hard.

Thank you very much! I can't wait to mold her, actually, and do the casting. I'm thinking of making her ebony with white eyes, but I'm still not sure. Perhaps the reverse...

White with ebony eyes would have a much more whimsical effect in my opinion. (:
But I'm sure it'll end up amazing whichever way you decide to go about it.

That might be nice too! The possibilities are endless. This is the exciting part, not being sure exactly how it will end up.
