Description Bah, I hate my camera right now. I'll upload a better photo if I can get one. It's difficult with a large piece to get the lighting just right.
(EDIT: changed the photo c

Absolutely, completely acrylic paint. The gold was very fun to plan with. I think it measures 25x40.

This is being sold at the gallery in town. Any and all constructive feedback would really be appreciated, this is my first large piece c:

Hello I am here from to give you the critique you requested I just wanted to say thank you for your patients and all critique are subjective and I will be completely honest and respectful.

Okay first I really like the overall piece it is really bold and stands out. I love the name of the piece and the concept behind it. The colors you use are very bold bright and stand out from the canvas really nicely. I love the use of prime colors and the color scheme. The piece also has amazing detail, like the arm and the branches have great detailing in them. I also like how the warm colors like red creates great emphasis in the face. You also have great contrast in the piece like with the bold vivid colors with the the black and the white. It is also great how you also incorporated blue into the background as well as the subject it makes for great balance to the pieces overall composition.

I like the anatomy I think she has great facial structure and I really like the expression in her eyes very powerful. I like the muscles in the neck and you used just enough black to create nice sharp shadows rather than it be overwhelming. And the way the way the blue blends into the black on the head is very beautiful. The breast coverings are amazing nice value and great color choice again amazing creases with the fabric very naturalistic.

My suggestions for this piece are not many because it is a very lovely piece. The anatomy is nice but in some areas I can see for improvement if you want a more naturalistic anatomy, like the head the could be a little smoother at the area where it starts to curve to the back of the skull. Also the right breast is larger than the other, but these are not really too noticeable to take away from the over all composition of your art piece. Also I love the asymmetrical balance of the piece but for the subject the arm has amazing detail but I think it would help to add the pattern in other areas of the piece like maybe above the subjects right breast and going down into her side or maybe it can also be incorporated into the background. You can use the gold strip instead of the black to repeat the pattern that way the arm will still be emphasized but it also will not appear like it is random, Because in the piece has great pattern and repetition like the flames yellow, gold and blue ( the red is fine being at the face). But the pattern in the arm does not appear anywhere else.

That is all of my suggestions you have done a great job I really admire your bold use of colors, strong lines and how unafraid you are to use a strong color scheme. You have a great concept with a nice execution. My suggestions is careful for the proportions in the anatomy and try adding patterns in different areas of the composition to achieve a little more balance and to ease the viewers eyes to other areas of the piece. Amazing job and a amazing piece.

I hope this helped you and if you need more suggestions we are always here if this helped feel free to recommend us to other artist
