But look at it this way, femmebots were probably taken advantage of a lot by the cons and thus you don't see too many around ... elitas methods is basically tough love and she just wants to protect the femmes... I see her as motherly figure looking over all of them... I mean seeing nav1 with the cons and participating in some terrible deeds probably breaks her spark
