Description
As children we have all heard of the dwarfs that helped Snow White.
In my town people say they are real, and that they live in these woods.
I thought they were all just old crazy town folk.
While I am just a boy living in this village I am old enough to know it is just a fable.
One day when my chores were done I went for a walk through the forest, I came across a path I have never seen before.
So I followed it, I thought I knew these woods so well, but soon was lost.
Then I found it, their world, I paused in wonder. In awe of this beautiful place.
So peaceful, and in harmony with nature.
Then I realized I am an intruder here, an unwelcome guest.
As much as I wanted to enter I decided against it. To remain an observer a few moments longer.
And then leave, never to return again. Never tell a soul about this place.
To forever keep their secret so they can continue to live in peace.

I would live here in a heartbeat. My bare feet long for the fluffy grass. My hands long to open the door, and to feel the rope of the bridge. My nostrils long for the fragrance of the air.
But alas, I'll have to settle for the needs of my eyes

Thank you, this was my first attempt at something somewhat complex.
Still one of my favs.
I see it as cool and damp, but when you open the door you feel warmth and the smell
of fresh bread baking in an oven.

What a wonderful concept! I love how you added smaller ivy? tree? stems/roots around the trees. I wouldn't have thought of that.

This is one I always wanted to do, dark forest with complicated trees.
Put a LOT of time in on this and really proud of how it turned out.
Learned a lot doing it, really enjoyed doing the detail work.
A lot so small that people probably can’t even see.
