Description My friend has been sick these past few days, so out of that he created some cool new textures and objects to play around with.

Here's his scene using the objects he created, which incidentally his sickness helped inspire these:


This was so much fun. Thanks to Ariel for all the fun objects to play with. He made the table and everything else in this scene; I made the characters in Poser. Scene rendered in Vue 8. Postwork in Photoshop.

Actually, the shadowy fella is a good guy. The dude in the chair was infected with something that made him do nasty things, so Shadowy fella is "extracting" the infection. There really is a story there, but I like how your mind works, bud! Even though this is a story in the works, I like that you can read into it what you will. That makes me feel good!

hehe, you guys are too funny! Wow Ryan! This is a cool image. Love the red light you have beaming from below and that needle or space extraction tool in his chest. hehe Ouch! Bjorn really did a great job modeling all the objects. He always gets so abstract when he is not feeling well. I'm amazed at how creative he gets too. I would hate to be in that hot seat. Especially with the dark mysterious figure standing over him with that instrument of torture. Yikes! I like how you cropped in close for your image, gives everything a totally different feel. Up close and scary. haha The cables hanging down are a nice touch. Kind of like the tools in a dentist office. Wonderful image sweetie, it's fun to visit the dark side every now and again. Yea!

** SPOILER ALERT ** There's no one actually inside the suit. It's an empty suit formed around the geometry of Baron Ros - I had to remove his skin to conserve overhead. "It puts the lotion on its skin..." Sorry, that was creepy but I kind of set myself up for it. lol

LOL! Thanks Vee! I had a lot of fun making it, though it took FOREVER to render. The lighting was mostly volumetric, so adding a dose of DOF made it a nice recipe for a slow render. Since BjΓΆrn made a whole-room scene, I decided to go tight and show what they actually do here. I guess I could have made an alternate title called "Insertion", but that just sounds ... painful!
