As an introduction to the return of "Halo Infinite" 😃 I will be publishing the list of the alien "Races" 👽 that were part of the Pact in the original saga in summary form:
* Race: Yanme’e
* Nickname: "drones", "bugs"
* Species: Arthropod (Insectoid type)
* Planet of Origin: "Palamok" (world with dense jungles very similar to Earth with tropical extremes and 4 moons orbiting in synchrony with the planet.)
* Average Height: 2 meters
* Technological level: Before being found by the Covenants they were native Level 4 "spatial" (they managed to colonize 2 moons of "Palamok" with massive structures densely populated by the Yanme'e)
Threatened by Covenant hegemony, the "Yanme'e" hives resisted with overwhelming numbers of "protectors and workers" that thwarted all attempts at submission leaving heavy losses for the Covenant; Rethinking their victory by trying to “crystallize” the planet, the Prophets got an assembly with the Queens of the Hives 🐝 to exchange technology for soldiers obtaining Level 2 (interstellar travel)
the "Yanme'e" are a race recruited to serve the Covenant, their old hives-minded lifestyle (Eusociality) facilitated their integration as "Neophytes" who exchanged their devotion for their Hive Queen for the replacement substitute of the "Prophets Of the covenant. (But their little understanding of religion left them without passion and obeying by commitment.)
* Affiliation: Covenant (Air Assault Light Infantry and Ship Mechanics) As infantrymen and coming from a planet with a higher gravity than 2G, they are equipped with anti-gravity modules that makes them very agile in less dense worlds, another ability Outstanding is their aim in the middle of the glide or while climbing structures. Its insect aspect gives it a very resistant natural armor due to its "exoskeleton" making it difficult to eliminate it in battle. 🐜

* Background: Human-Covenant conflict, participated in the fall of "Reach" and in the invasion of the Earth (October 20, 2552), they built improvised colonies to ensure a landing point for Covenant reinforcements within the city of "New Mombasa" (Africa) The police and the gangs in the sector defended the city from the invasion of “Drones” to get time for civilian evacuation. The city was destroyed and “crystallized”. 😢
* Current Status: "The Great Schism" or Covenant civil war dissolved their faith and commitment causing a massive desertion of "Drones" who returned disappointed with their respective Queens. (The children returning to their mothers. 😅)
