(Oddworld story)
The "Slogs" are the strange equivalent of "Dogs" for the world of Oddworld, their bipedal appearance, hairless red skin and without eyes recall the silhouette of a dinosaur with large jaws, For lack of vision like other blind predators of the continent of "Mudos" evolved a sensory cranial crest very sensitive to the waves of its own barking that bounce off objects allowing it to create a mental image of its surroundings through echolocation; Slogs have a wide rib cage that strengthens their lung breathing for a prolonged hunt for prey.
Their domestication as a pet was part of their training as attack dogs for the cruel vigilantes "Sligs" who adopt them from puppies called "Sloggies". In the company of their cruel masters the "Slogs" are hungrier for blood and seek to smell the adrenaline produced by the fear of the slaves "Mudokons" when they receive the order of their Master "Slig" when yelling at them: "Catch him boy" each "Slogs" usually focuses his lethal bite on the throat of his victim and then ripping his flesh.
