South has become a thing of fascination with me. I still despise her, especially now that we know how awesome her brother was...and how disrespectful she was to her superiors...but she has to have some redeeming qualities...doesn't she? I hope North can coax them out of her at some point...a little added depth can go a long way for a character like her...
I knew I would like North. I knew because he dies. I always like the guy who ends up dead. fml XD;

lol they are! I started out liking just a couple characters, but I'm starting to just love the Freelancers as a group, especially since we get to see them in the halcyon pre-insanity days in season 9.

Words cannot describe how happy I am that they're showing us what life was like before everything went wrong for Freelancer. We get to see characters before their lives were ruined...and I'm so eager to compare surviving members to their "pre-insanity" selves.
And I am such a sucker for group dynamics. How characters interact with others; I eat that shit up

I, I, kinda would. I wrote this short fic here [link] that I'd love an illustration for. You don't have to read it if you don't want-- the gist is that Epsilon-Wash is screaming about Allison in his sleep and York just wants him to shut up. Annoyed!York and damaged!Wash are my favourite.

The death of North is gonna be hard to watch for sure ;A; But seeing how exactly Theta compromises their relationship could explain why South did what she did. Maybe, once we know the whole story, we could sympathize with the tough decisions she made to stay alive. Maybe she has redeemable qualities.
Or maybe she just is a selfish brat who deserves being shot in the face.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of...the addition of Theta will change North and South, seeing his change as a betrayal, will see killing him as getting even for what he did to her.

I don't know about getting even...But it could be an added factor. She is clearly pretty selfish. Along with jealousy and she probably isn't the most moral person to begin with, I can sorta understand why she acted the way she did. :\
