why won't the journal box top background image work?

Its a random problem going around on dA.. some headers aren't showing up for some people. For example.. I've tested this CSS and I have no problems with viewing the header, but there will be some random people on dA that will have trouble seeing the header.
I know it doesn't make sense, but I can only assume its a dA problem.

You have to be a subscribed member to modify your journal.
If/When you have a sub. you place the downloaded CSS in your journal in the "add css" area
