Description
Heavily (regarding the fact it took more than five minutes) cropped and clonestamped photo I took today. The water was dirty, and I had to get rid of most of the dark spots.I'll do another, better one some day.
Note: the tone is right as the camera produced it.

A wine glass in water, with some air inside which forms the bubbles.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I also like the asymmetrical composition, adds an element of unpredictability and charm to a minimalist/cool shot which could potentially have looked sterile.

The composition/light is beautiful. I like the way the bubbles look like strong forms in their own right rather than negative space..

The tone is wonderful! The whole image does have a very "clean" look, like rendered with a computer. Nice one.

I used the built-in flash of the camera - as I photographed a glass lying in a shiny brushing pot, it got reflected in weird ways depending on the angle I shot the photo from. The tones are the result of the automatic white-balance of the camera.

well finally
its a very beautiful piece getting back to some of your good abstract water pieces.
i can just about see how the water was dirty tho probably wouldnt have noticed if you hadnt said. are you sure the picture needed the dirt taken out? it wouldnt be as minimalist but could still be very nice.
I like the composition, the 2D-ness and the angle. they look like little silver balls on top of a metal sphereical thing

dude if you want it to be super clean use bottled or distiled water
that would help out a lot
i think that the reflections on the smaller bubles work nicely
it would be nice to see those same highlihts on the lager bubble

I discovered it in the sink, right before washing the dishes. Fresh water will most probable be clean enough
I didn't know if I could reproduce the bubbles, so I decided to first take photos of it.

Although some of the clone-marks are obvious, this is still an very nice photograph.
Perhaps using a feathered gausian blur on the cloned areas would help smooth out some of the spots.
I love the simplistic styling, and the crispness of the lines.
Overall, beautiful capture.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not very good at editing, don't have the practice. I'll try to get it done better. After my headache is gone
I think I'll re-shoot it tomorrow. That's easier than getting my clone-marks away

May not have the editing down to perfection, but you do some amazing work on the photography part. hehe
Can't wait to see how the re-shoot goes.
