Oh, I really, really, really LOVE that scene! The way, Snape sneaks through the table rows , pretending to read while actually keep his eye on the kids, and then....punch!
And this look, when he pulls up his sleeves....
I'm giggling everytime i watch this, telling my co-watchers : "oh, look, now, now, look what he's doing!!!!! Oh my GOD, for christs sake, look what he's DOING!!!"

On the one hand, Snape was making certain that students wouldn't talk too loud and not disrupt other's concentration, BUT it's clear he enjoyed this duty a little too much!
