Well, to be honest, I don't like the elements of magic in the show. I hate magic.

I feel that as long as it isn't grounded in any sort of reality, then it's relatively harmless. I've heard of the sort of "magic" you're thinking of, and I'll agree it's pretty sickening, and gives kids' stuff like MLP a bad rep for it.

If I may request, please show one example of it grounded in one type of reality. I also do not approve and hold great dislike for fans of the MLP FIM show who make all NSFW content out of the show. The show is for children, My WORD! Why would people make porn and very debasing, insulting and very unsafe and unclean stuff out of a children's show! This is why I have vowed to never support MLP FIM and it's fan-base. I also promised that never will I join a fan-base or become a fan.

When I say magic being grounded in reality, I mean in terms of things that are obviously not real, such as the portrayal of Unicorn magic. As long as it doesn't show magic in a form outside of cheap parlor tricks (i.e witchcraft), I see nothing wrong. As an avid anime fan, believe me, I've seen far worse than a unicorn beeing abe to move things with her mind.
Never heard the term NFSW, sadly, but I do agree with your asking why people would twist something innocent around to portray something... ugly. I find it rather distasteful, but sadly, the anonimity of the Internet tends to make some people do that.

Hmm...you are correct. If I may ask again, is telepathy and psionics or psychics considered magic or witchcraft? I can consider what are you are saying right now. I hope not to offend you with what I am about to say, but I am studying the Bible with the Jehovah's Witnesses. I have chosen Jehovah's Witnesses as my religion.

Actually, telepathy/psionics, IMO, couldn't technically be considered "magic", so much as an elevated state of the human mind. I consider it less witchcraft, and more human phenomena. Since you aren't using external means outside of your own brain power (i.e talismans, incantations) to develop these phenomena, I wouldn't consider it as any kind of witchcraft.
I'm not offended by any kind of religion, so long as people don't try and cram it down my throat. I believe in God, and that's all there is. However, I don't believe in religion, since religion is dictated by man, and not by God.

Really? Well, I feel good too. It's nice to see a person happy and smiling. I do kind of admire Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy for their good qualities like joy, honesty, generosity and kindness respectively. I also like Rainbow Dash for her loyalty and Twilight for being the spark and spirit of friendship. Anyway, I humbly bow in respect to you.

1. She probably feels like she would be bragging if she went about telling anyone.
2. The maker of the comic wanted it to be a suprise.
Plus, there is a bible verse where Jesus tells his disciples to give in secret, and not to trumpet their deeds all over the city. This would be an example of someone doing just that!

The only time you truly see her element is in the series opener w/the sea serpent. It really is a shame.

Explain Suited For Success, where Rarity made ten dresses for her friends and nearly got her career ruined because she let her friends choose how they wanted the dresses to look.
I wish that the writers would give Rarity more episodes with her element. It's annoying that they made her selfish almost all the time and, in Season 3, not a single episode was focused on her.
There has to be, like, five Rarity episodes in Season 4, all where her element is explored.

I haven't seen ALL of them yet, so it'd have been better to say it was the only one I know of. I watch this, maybe, once every 2-3 weeks on Netflix when I'm in the mood.

IDK, I'm just a bit torn. Half of my conciousness is telling me to grow up, and the other half just wants to eat cereal, watch cartoons and play Minecraft all day.
My inner child is a great refuge from the pains of my daily life (lack of work, lack of money, etc). My disability doesn't make it much easier.

You shouldn't let age determine what you watch. I watch kids cartoons, teenage anime, and adult shows and I don't care. Even though people give me weird looks at school when I wear my Lyra shirt, I just smile to myself, knowing that what they think doesn't affect my life.
I like what you said about your inner child. I agree with you, I do kid stuff when I want to distract myself from school.
Sometimes I want to sit around and eat while playing video games, too. (Though I personally would trade cereal for cheetos and Minecraft for Portal, since my computer and Minecraft hate each other, sadly. DX)

I suppose, then, I should just let myself fall in head first. At least one good thing has come from this: Watching MLP has re-sparked my interest in drawing. Until now, I hadn't picked up a sketchbook and pencil in over six years.

That's good~ Drawing has been a big part of my life, and MLP certainly helps with this.
I find the initial pony design interesting and fun. I like tweaking it to fit my own style. (I've replaced the eye design with a more manga-esque design, the stallion/larger pony muzzle resembles a dragon's head, and the legs are longer.)
I also like making my own pony characters and developing a story around them. It's kinda fun~

Well, since I JUST picked my sketchbook up only a day ago, I decided to draw Apple Bloom. She'll be used in another drawing I plan to put up on DA when I get the means to do so.

Special equipment to post on here? No, not at all~ You can post any medium on here! I typically do digital drawings because my scanner is bad and I don't like my colored pencils, but anything will be fine.
To post things, you just have to fill out the submission page and have the file uploaded. It's simple~

I just don't have a scanner. As I said, most, if not all, of my work is done by hand.

I believe that you can use a scanner at some libraries. I know that my library offers that, but I don't know about yours. Places like FedEx stores and such offer free or low-charge scanning.
I think printers can scan things in. I'm not sure which programs besides Photoshop can... (I use Photoshop for scanning. Which reminds me, I have a few sketches I'd like to color~)
