i never really writen a fanfic before i dont really have any writing skills at all :`P

Oh. Well, writing isn't too hard.Β I'm the same way, in that I can't draw at all.Β I guess writing is kind of like drawing...except instead of knowing drawing techniques, you have to expand your functional vocabulary and know structural stuff.

Heh I know what you mean. Writing takes a LOT of inspiration, preparation (writing out the vision for the universe, characters and plot for future reference), and time. Probably a few other things I've forgotten. But when you figure out a routine/system, it can be as easy as sitting there and typing. At least, I think it is. I'm not that great at it yet either.

Sorry for double-posting. I just wanted to amend what I said earlier. The art style you employ is in it's own way distinctive and although perhaps not what I would do, it is actually a really cool and interesting way to draw the characters. So yeah... different, not inferior. Just wanted to clear that up.

Thanks a lot for your input! glad you enjoy my work, and especially glad you made your peace with my art style xD I just think that there's enough people doing comics in the style of the show so its good to have variety.

I found the art style perhaps a trifle sloppy, but it sure is 9 bazillion times better than most fan comics I see and about 900 bazillion times better than I could ever do. Also, it fits PERFECTLY with my own head-cannon regarding Scoot's origins. Β More importantly, this comic sorta fits very well (with the exception of the fact that in his, Scoots was adopted by Rainbow Dash as her "adopted Filly" rather than little sister) with a fanfic of a very talented writer whom I've been watching who establishes a much closer personal bond (and more satisfying to to the heart, I think) than is explored in the show. (To my sadness)
Please do take a gander if you have the time. (Take a gander? I think I've been watching too many AJ episodes again >_>)

Scoots looks really weird in the first panel. It took a bit of staring to figure out why she had a tentacle draped over her neck.

I saw the first few panels and was like,
"Ah, obviously talking about dead parents. Dark humor, ahoy. I guess the punchline'll be that it's NOT what they're actually talking about, and it'll be worth a snickerβ
