I hate alicorn twilight because of how the show absolutely didn't gave a fuck about those problems.
About how she wasn't supposed to want her ugly wings as if there was no problem at all.
For me , alicorn twilight is the dead twilight that died when she exploded.Β

There are so many reasons I dislike the way that was handled. For starters it sends an aweful message to kids, the whole do this and you can be a princess? are you kidding me? just no! I have a niece and I don't want people setting her up for a disappointment like that, life is harsh enough!
Second of all the way they completely skipped over the implications, which are huge! I mean, she is a princess now, why would you keep her as a library clerk! She is immortal, then why is she not freaking out! eternity is a whole lot to deal with, and if according to twitter she isn't immortal then why the hell does she get to be a princess?! it makes sense with Luna and Celestia because they clearly are immortal, so they are the wisest beings in the land, but if twilight is not then she is receiving her crown just because she is an alicorn. I mean its a racial thing, alicorn supremacy. That is just too much aweful.

Firstly, it's not exactly setting the bar low for what she needed to become a princess. She did, after all need to master the arcane arts under the tutelage of a bloody deity, save the entire world three times, AND get through some of the most dangerous and chaotic "friendship problems" ever to exist completely unscathed. Even the last of those is pretty damn impressive considering that she started off having no experience in socializing with any sentient creature that wasn't her relative or teacher. (Well, aside from Spike, but he's more like a son/younger brother to her than a normal friend) If any human did all of that, I'd be amazed if they WEREN'T thought of as highly as royalty.
As for the second part, according to Twitter, she wouldn't "outlive her friends". That doesn't have to mean that she's mortal; it only means exactly what it says. It could just as easily mean that her friends too will become immortal, or that she's going to turn mortal again at some point.

You can be as acomplished as a human can posibly be, and that still won't make you royalty, that's not how it works. And sure, Twilight has done many impresive feats, but so have any of the mane six, aguably many of them have advanced more that she did, and they are not growing apendeges and recieving crowns about it.Β
And my argument isn't that the character doesnt deserve the position, it's against the way the coronation was handled, which in my opinion, was aweful.

None of the others were trained by existing royalty for most of their life. There certainly have been times throughout history that when no heirs to the throne remain, one who currently has the throne will train someone for it; is it really so difficult to believe that much at least?

So essentially Twilight is becoming the next version of Nightmare Moon. Just like Luna she's not innately evil or bad but was driven by a build of up of negative emotions. While Luna was driven by a sense of feeling neglected Twilight is being driven by fear. Can't wait to see the rest of it.

One of the days, I really hope people can take a more positive view on immortality. All the talk about outliving your love onesΒ is nothing if you don't really love anyone, and all you love is science and math, both immortal.
Twilight is the best candidate for the unlovingΒ eternal scientist.

I like this a lot! Maybe plan out the plot a little more ahead of time so you don't have to take such obvious steps through each scene, but other than that, I really like what you've done.

The time will come soon when Twilight Sparkle finally realizes she overreacted like on most things to her day-to-day life... again, and again, and again

This COULD turn into the lesson about restraint and avoiding obsession that Twilight has failed to learn before, once things predictably go horribly wrong...
OR
We could end up with the much finer and rarer lesson that there is nothing so foreign or so dangerous that proper care and teamwork can not overcome it, by having things go COMPLETELY FINE once Twilight actually manages to consult her friends.
