Description
Regarding those nacelles: I wanted them flattish, long and somewhat magically simplistic. The way they integrate with the pylons was meant to imply speed and elegance. Also, there is this suggestion of them being composed of modules.Related content

Hard to say. The idea here was to make her some sort of very fast light scout thing, about three or four decks-tall for her "saucer" section (high-ceilinged decks, specially the one or two running along the main hull's elongation). Not much habitable space in the stardrive section, mostly automated. Small crew, fifty souls or so.
I guess it ought to feel like being a lighter vessel than the USS Voyager, even if her components make her occupy a similar volume of space.
I tried to texture it a bit, but it didn't seem to work. I ought to try again, simply accenting a few things here and there. In a way, she's like Voyager: at her scale, aztecs wouldn't work too well. Real panelling would… but I don't want them for this style of starship hull.
This era's Enterprise-sized vessels would show more detaining, though. I ought to at least do some sketches showing what my thoughts on the matter are.
(Also, I really must do the technobabble infodump that this thingy requires )

Argh, I meant more detailing, not detaining.

It's really uncanny, I JUST drew forward connections like that for my take on a future USS Enterprise bound for deep extra-galactic space.
I'm curious though. With the very smooth and (quite sexy I must admit) hull patterns. IT's hard to get a sense of scale for her. What would you put the length and height at roughly?
