Samurai Champloo is probably pretty close to my favorite anime series, next to Cowboy Bebop. Not so surprisingly they are made by the same person, Shinichirō Watanabe. I wanted to work on something different, as opposed to only my own stories. So i asked for some suggestive inspiration from everyone last journal and this was one of them. Quite frankly this was one of the most enjoyable pieces that i have made in a while. It let me revisit my DVD collection and re-watch this great anime series. So my reference has been done, but like always, if i have missed something let me know. This will be inked in the near future. I have suggested to a DA friend of mine that we should collaborate on this if she would be willing to color it. My offer is till standing, although i must admit i do feel inspired to give it a go, coloring wise myself. So why not both?! On a last note if you have yet to see this great animes series i DEFINETLY recommend it, honestly it is probably one of the greatest action-comedy-drama animes i have ever seen.
