Description
~ This is how I started out today, and I'll also be posting how it looked at the end. (Although I haven't worked on it that much today, making a mask for Mordec out of sculpey occupied me xP) ~I started a little project this week, when I finally received my super sculpey in the mail.
What I'm trying to do is sculpt a face and half a hand, and let them come out of a round mirror. In the end I want to use it as a prop for a shoot with people dressed up as Mordec and one or two of his wives. It will show how new souls enter his Realm, since that's through a strange sort of pool that doesn't ripple when touched, so a bit like a mirror, but still fluid. Have to see how it'll all turn out, and it might take a loooong while before I can finally do that shoot (hello big human sized costume for Mordec!).
I was really surprised that the face is actually coming together quite alright, since I've - once again - never done this sort of thing before. Heh, it actually feels a bit silly to say that so many times, except for that it's actually true. =_= xD
The head still needs a lot of work, get more depth and a bit more life hopefully.

Geeeeeh thank you so much!! *3*
I actually have, but it has never really gotten to the point of serious consideration. I've always thought in a way like; in a while, when I've developed more and have finished the most important doll characters from my 'A Veil' story. I also have a different char that will be in need of some sculpting work, but that's only a leg and arm (she's in Artbook Fourth a lot).
Maybe I'll sculpt a doll head someday though. That you're so enthousiastic about this sculpture does really make me consider it a lot more seriously! I'd love making doll-faces with a twist, things that are a bit weird or 'ugly', but I'll have to see!
Thanks again! <3

Kehe, thanks. <3 Tried to make her mouth look a bit like Dahlia's. Actually, she's pretty much starting to look like Dahlia more and more. Didn't know if I could pull that off so it wasn't my goal, but if it does turn out like her I'll be really happy. x3
