~ This is how I started out today, and I'll also be posting how it looked at the end. (Although I haven't worked on it that much today, making a mask for Mordec out of sculpey occupied me xP) ~

I started a little project this week, when I finally received my super sculpey in the mail.
What I'm trying to do is sculpt a face and half a hand, and let them come out of a round mirror. In the end I want to use it as a prop for a shoot with people dressed up as Mordec and one or two of his wives. It will show how new souls enter his Realm, since that's through a strange sort of pool that doesn't ripple when touched, so a bit like a mirror, but still fluid. Have to see how it'll all turn out, and it might take a loooong while before I can finally do that shoot (hello big human sized costume for Mordec!).

I was really surprised that the face is actually coming together quite alright, since I've - once again - never done this sort of thing before. Heh, it actually feels a bit silly to say that so many times, except for that it's actually true. =_= xD
The head still needs a lot of work, get more depth and a bit more life hopefully.
