I loved Dumbo growing up. He was probably my favorite Disney character growing up. We had a Christmas ornament of Dumbo, and I’m pretty sure I treated it more as a toy than an ornament (which would explain why his ears were almost always broken, poor thing). I always had to ride Dumbo when we went to Disneyland, even this last time we went I rode it with my dad. I remember standing in line and getting a wooden magic feather that showed you were next. They don’t do that anymore, now they have numbers on the ground. And I remember seeing Dumbo in the Electrical Parade and being so happy.
