I had hoped some things would never change, but it has, so let's hope it is for the better.
Another image on my mind recently: the little sister watches on as her brother fishes (in a pretty dangerous position, I might add, lol). A special thanks to one of my favorite designer/artists, Greg Martin, for providing a tutorial on how to make planets.

This is very beautiful. It has an MC Escher feel to it. I don't know if you are familiar with his black and white drawing of the sky reflected on a pool of water with fish in it but this reminded me of it. Your skills leap forward at each image. This is great.

Magnificent! You truly are an inspiring artist. Astronomy meserizes me, and the way you added in the below sea, above sea, and above sky is truly awesome. Looking at the large planet with the moon, as well as thinking of the planet the two subjects are on really gives me a fluttery feeling inside. Imagine we lived on a planet like that? People like Galileo would be overtly more interested in what's up there, because it's SO much closer. I love it!

I agree this is really brilliant. The planets are excelent. All the colors work exceptionally well. The whole piece is really majestic and deep but the children fishing at the bottom kinda warms your heart.
You can do a lot with an idea like this.
