TOTAL HOURS: approx. 14 hoursTOOLS: Tablet, Photoshop
Dante and Trish from Capcom's Devil May Cry 4. Used a few references of official images for the clothing and weapons. The sketch was done on computer last year, but I didn't start adding in colors until late last month. Wasn't going to finish this since I kept putting it off for so long, but I decided I should after going through some incomplete works. The original plan was to have Dante and a background, but I recently decided to add Trish instead.

just a little suggestion though, maybe dante's face can be sharper and deeper. Like, adding more contrast to the nasal area...

I've been studying the way you do hair, mainly because I've had problems with a picture of my own, you get a very nice effect...whats it say on the gun?

I actually had problems with the hair. It's still not getting to how I wanted it, but I'll just keep practicing. It's just gibberish on the gun, I wasn't sure if the female character carries "Ebony and Ivory" or "Luce and Umbra" (names of four different guns) so I just scribble letters in, lol.

I've been held up finishing one painting because I'm fixated on the hair. I think I was trying to do to much. I really like how you get the effect you do.

I know what you mean about fixating on certain parts while working on an artwork. Is the painting the rain one? Or is this something else?

It's a painting I was doing for a friend. I believe I have the hair problem worked out now.
The Rain painting is still in the sketching,planning stage, Still moving things around in my head so to speak...lol

I just love the way how you did skin, and hands of these guys, all looks so nice. Trish is beautiful with that (well kinda) angry face ^^ but one thing mislead me
