A Commission that I did for Enjoy!Story written by
Kentura (Soft, but concerned): Child? What are you doing out here?
Kayla (frightened): Who… who are you?
Kentura (calm): I am Kentura... A Follower of the Ancients. Whom might you be? And... What has happened to you?
Kayla (nervously): I-I'm Kayla... I've run away from the city after... After… (Starts to mew sadly as Kentura approaches)
Kentura (caring and motherly): Shhh... It's alright, Kayla... I'm sorry you've been through so much, but don't worry. I can help you!
Kayla (uneasy, saddened): No you can’t, no one can help me anymore…
Kentura (She was a bit troubled by her refusal, but sighed as she retained her calmness and spoke to her in a soft voice as Kayla started to break down) Kayla… If you do not wish to come with me, where I can provide shelter, food, and water for you… then that is your choice. But it will always remain open to you…
Kayla (sighs softly as she mewed and looked down): I… I just don't know anymore… I just want it all to end…
Kentura (Moves closer and nuzzles her gently, licking her ear soothingly): Come with me, Kayla… I can provide you a sanctuary from the misery and hatred you've had to endure in the city… If you don't trust me, then you don't have to… but know I will always help those that have lost their way. The choice is yours. (She said as she backed up, leaving Kayla to decide)
