I simply cannot get enough of this.
I had it saved to my archives. Had it made into my wallpaper (which I rarely update). And it was after... setting it into my life that I was definitely sure... that I love this photo.
Sounds cheesy.
But the colours are, plainly put, astounding. The fact that Autumn is my favourite colour feeds into this as well. The ripples in the water and the veins of the leaf... especially that tiny ripple stirred by the tip of the leaf's stem... so much texture being offered here. Everything is so alive and fresh, I can almost breathe the coolness in the air.
The ability to take something normally trivial and create a moving, vibrant image... and of course absolutely gorgeous work with the colour enhancements (if I assume correctly).

It's okay
I've been to Paris and Nice. I used to know Paris like the back of my hand; I went to school in London for 7-8 years, while I was growing up, so I had a lot of opportunies to visit Paris. I think the city has a beauty of its own, although I have to say it isn't too clean. That and it's rather inconvenience, since it's an international city, more or less, it's still rather difficult for non-French-speaking people to get around. I used to speak perfect French though, but now it's kind of waned, in the sense that I pronounce perfectly, but I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. Nice was beautiful. It's where I tasted the most delicious freshly-churned saltless white butter in the whole world.
