I really like the colours in these shots. Putting these two photos together in one piece was a great choice.

beautifully done. love the use of depth of focus and the blue backgroud that matches the foreground subjects well.

i like how you made this a diptych. the slight hint of green and red of the berries on just one of the two photos contrasts very nicely (:. the background colors are also beautiful and work well. these plants are amazing when you just stare at them you captured them in a way that makes them very interesting and pleasing to the eye. well done!

ya i know it says that but there's a glitch in my computer. like for example this person called Deep-Emerald added me as a watch but then it never came up so he had to do it again. just check his profile even. Sorry I should have mentioned that in my previous note.
great job!

A lovely photography. It makes me green with envy... Love people who notices the details around us and manage to capture them!
I'm about to buy my first SLR camera, and also wanna invest in a good macro lens as soon as I can afford it for photos like this, but problem is; I have no experience with lenses whatsoever. I keep trying to look around at photographers pages here, trying to figure out stuff about what to look for when buying a lens suited for close-ups, but can't figure anything out... All the numbers and stuff makes me dizzy, except the focal length!
So, do you have any tips?
I so badly wanna achieve the visions of my dreams, and I don't wanna end up with some lousy stuff when buying and starting fresh with a new camera.

those are not macro lens. 50 mm are rather portrait lenses. it depends on what camera you want to buy and i am not really an expert. i have nikon and i dont know more about any other cameras. maybe you should ask on dA forum?

Albiona In reply to JuliaDunin [2008-03-27 13:01:54 +0000 UTC]
Aye, I came to think about it yesterday, that there should be some sort of tutorial or information posts on digital photography around here on dA. I'll have to take a look around
I'm planning on buying a Canon EOS 450D, as Canon cameras are what I'm the most used to handle.
Thanks for the reply though You picture has still attained a beautiful and serene look ^^
