From what I can observe you start out with dark lines, I always need a dull outline to start off of, so it's tough for me. It's honestly making me learn a bunch though! Like, if you get the nose wrong you're totally effed! haha

I need the same thing. A dull outline is necessary at the start , then I have to fill the shadows, and develop the traits!
