Description
Subject B3452-X4 was discovered after complaints were received about power fluctuations and surges occurring in downtown [Redacted]. The source of the electrical anomaly was located deep within the utility section of the sewers under [Redacted]. The Anomalous Core, as code named by the team was discovered in a cavernous space, sitting on a huge pile of junk, mostly consisting of used electronics and other metallic refuse. The core itself, which is in the shape of a giant metallic sphere, appears to be made out of various scraps and debris, which led some to believe that it was made out of the same materials found in the immediate vicinity. It is still a mystery as to who or what placed the machine there, how and when it was built, let alone how it was made to work despite the questionable nature of its construction. The core draws its power via large cables that are attached to the top section of the sphere, which are then hooked to several dozen local power nodes, which explains the electrical anomalies experienced from above. Computer scientists and experts within the team, after exercising much caution in handling the object, managed to remove some of the panels and install access ports at certain parts of the sphere, and attach them to several terminals, also installed by request at the site, in an attempt to ascertain its nature and contents. At first what they discovered seemed mundane and utterly useless as the data obtained from the core seemed nothing more than just random but extremely long sequences of recognizable electrical diagrams that are still in wide use today. It wasn't until one of the technicians discovered a pattern that suggests that they were more than just electrical diagrams. After much scrutiny, they found out that there are messages encoded in the diagrams. The deciphered messages describe in accurate detail of past historical events dating back from 600 000BC to the most recent of events, among which contained detailed and compartmentalized description of wars of the 20th century, the 9/11, the advent of the SARS and H1N1 flu strain, the disappearance of the Malaysian flight MH370 which was caused by [Redacted], and many other events in recent history. But what startled the team was that the strings continued to describe future events such as the [Redacted] of California and the whole of America, the absolute collapse of the global economy, the 3rd World War, the [Redacted] plague that is to come in the year [Redacted], and the invasion of [Redacted], which ultimately will lead to the coming of the [Redacted]. Those were the last readable strings after which, the remaining data was heavily marred by errors and corruption which rendered them undecipherable. The entire data load was estimated to be at about 765 Exabytes. After the discovery, the site was ordered to be effectively sealed off. All affected power nodes are recalibrated to prevent further fluctuations, while still allowing power to flow to the core. No data from the core is permitted to be taken out from the site and all personnel from the team, with the exception of 10 key individuals, are required by protocol to be subjected to amnesiacs. Only the 10 key individuals (Please refer to Document B3452-X4-1a for names of individuals) are permitted to conduct further scrutiny and tests at the site. Anyone beyond that list are prohibited to enter the site under the penalty of termination and life-long incarceration.
