Journal entry, Day 6: Still haven't figured out how to deactivate the barrier. Pete tried touching it and scalded his fingers quite badly. Jonny held a cheese sandwich up to it with tongs to make toast. Idiot. It still makes no sense how the barrier is so hot when everything else here is cold to the touch. this place creeps me out.
