My interpretation of the Forge Star mentioned in the Clovis Bray Journal supplement for Beyond Light.

According to the journal, the star discovered by Clovis Bray at the other side of the Vex gate is a supergiant, with a diameter that extends as far as the orbit of Neptune. They quickly discovered that the star is enveloped by an artificial megastructure, a dyson swarm, with hundreds of planetoids orbiting it. Multiple rings also encircle the star, along with large gates, manipulating the stellar evolution of the star, sustaining it indefinitely for abnormally long eons of time, well beyond the projected life span of its kind. It is not known if the supergiant is located at a point somewhere within our own universe, or perhaps in another dimension or reality.
