"The Archive is a massive Installation with a Shield World, like Onyx, at it's center, both in real-time, with a Slipspace rift connecting to a Shield World "brane". The real-time Shield World has several purposes; storage and protection, mainly. A large amount of dormant Forerunners may reside within the inner casing of the Shield World. The Slipspace "brane", connected to by the Slipspace rift, may be a habitable installation if the real-time Archive Installation is ever in danger. The Slipspace brane also stores massive amounts of information (backup copies of the records in real space)."It's been a while since I did anything related to Halo. So here's one to reignite my interest in the lore of the Forerunners.
