Description

A captive was brought into High Priestess' chamber. My eyes could hardly adjust to the sudden change in hue after having immersed in scarlet light for so long. The chamber was minimal, with every surface made out of a bone-like material... perhaps they are. The malignant mass seated at top of the dais began quivering violently, expelling vulgar amounts of sinew, blood, and entrails, with a cacophony of sloshes and splashes, reddening the immaculate white floor below it. From that expulsion came forth a form that morphed into a tall being. The very air in the chamber became alive and energized from the being now present on the dais. The captive shook in fear at the horrible sight before him, for he is now in the presence of the High Priestess. By the gentle gesture of her hands, accompanied by a hymn that sounded like multi-voiced screams, howls, whispers and chants, the captive's flesh began drooping and slopped onto the ground, strings of sinew pulled away from the captive like threads on a loom, onto the mass now pooling under. Then a deafening silence ensued. The captive now reduced to bones as the pile of flesh under became attracted towards the mass on the dais. And then the chamber became pristine once more.
