Very nice. I'm getting the oriental vibe too. Perhaps because of the round body, pronounced quarters and tapering legs? Pretty tail and colors. Seen George Stubb's depictions of the same?

My favorite part is the blood on the horn, testifying that the lion didn't always have the advantage.

ok the unicorns horn has gone throught the lions head sorta and the crown has landed on his head but him being a horse he is shiting himslef and the lion is gripping on for dear life wow looks pretty kewl no thats not how it goes i'm sure but i like to add my own story to master peices very original. i like it.

pooor unicorn... but isin't unicorn an hybrid whith lion, horse, deer and goat, and a lot of other animals?:3

Unicorns traditionally had more goat and deer/antelope etc elements to them, but then turned more horse like later on.
They have also been said to be more rhinoceros like among other horned creatures.
