"It's been a while since you've competed in show jumping, Kei. Aren't you nervous?" That is what
Saga has asked her outside of the arena as Kei entered the ring to walk the course. Of course
she was nervous! She was always nervous right before a show, but as soon as she passed the
gates with her mount she was fully focused on the task at hand.
Before she walked out into the arena, she took a quick look around at the people who were her
opponents, but also friends. There were some there whom she greeted eagerly and cheerfully since
it had been a while since she saw them last. Koda was one of them. She also saw Sam, but decided not
to say hi because maybe it would disturb her focus. It was enough with a quick smile before the gates were
open and she was allowed to walk the course. She calculated the strides between the jumps and trying
to decide how many strides to have.
Afterwards she headed back to the stables to prepare Messi. They had quite some time before it was
their turn. Agterall... they were almost last out in the class.
