Here is the breed sheet for the Hototo Breed and the pasrt about their sparkles, stripes and auras. I might add some things since it is in the middle of the night where I am and I need some sleep.

How do I get a rare color?
To get a rare colored Hototo, you must contact me. I cannot agree to every requests and the chance that you get a rare color are slim, but not impossible.

Multicolored Stripes

A new rare color which have come up is multicolored Hototo's. This means the stripes have two colors. This is still considered a rare coloration, and is not open for creation. Only way to get this color is by purchasing in a accepted Jullelin auction.

Rare colors are no longer open

Red Striped Hototo's
The red gene cannot be past on by breeding. RD's Demantur browse.deviantart.com/art/RDS-… got a couple of red offsprings back in the day but this is no longer allowed. The red striped (already excisting) foals of his are allowed, but the gene cannot be past on to future foals. This means that a grandchild of Demanturs cannot be red striped, no matter if it is a purebred or a crossbred Hototo. Red IS NOT possible.
If you have a grandchild of Demantur's who is red striped, please change it as soon as possible since this is a error in the genetics.
Red striped (already excisting) Hototos after Demantur can still have their red stripes.
But for the future. No more red striped Hototo's. It is not possible to get a red striped Hototo through breeding.
