Description
Ron and Hermione, sharing a quick kiss before class starts.Request for ~AuroraWinter .
--
One quick thing about Hermione (cuz I was just talking about it with my sister): Hermione used to be my absolute favorite character in the HP series... I wanted to be Hermione. And even though she's not perfect or overly beautiful, but she's just such a great character. But unfortunately, Emma Watson RUINED Hermione for me. So I just wanted to say I do like her, the only reason why I don't draw her often is because I always have the horrid movie version in my head.

Oh my word, THANK YOU. No-one ever seems to agree with me about Emma Watson being a horrible Hermione.
Your drawing, on the other hand, is delightful

Emma Watson is pretty, but yeah ... when she got older, she became NOTHING like Hermione.

See, art like this actually makes me kinda like this pairing...although in RL I'm all "How in the world is this even supposed to work Hermione is so brilliant and Ron doesn't care about anything that Hermione loves". And stuff. Also, I didn't mind Emma Watson as Hermione. Mostly, I disliked her hair. It was absolutely not bushy enough.

Yeah I know what you mean whit Emma Watson. I don't know if people have notice or if its just me and my friend but she always has this weird expression on her face and she moves her eyebrows so much and she even stutters! And she doesn't look like Hermione at all! They couldve at least made her hair bushy and given her fake teeth!!

They did give her fake teeth. But I'd like to point out that in the fourth book Hermione had her teeh fixed by Madame Pomfrey after being hit by a nasty hex from Malfoy. In the first two movies her hair WAS bushy as well, they changed that when she got older.

I know she gets her teeth shrunk in the fourth one but they don't even put that in the movie. And even if she did have fake teeth in the first three movies, they weren't very good fake teeth because her teeth look perfect. And yes her hair was bushy in the first two movies, witch actually made her look more like Hermione, but then why did they change it? I mean, its not like her hair gets un-bushier when she starts getting older (book-wise). She might have been able to pull off the whole Hermione look but sadly that was ruined by her costume/make-up producer-person-thing.

yesh, Ill admit that. But maybe It was the fact that things got a lot more action packed really, they were running and falling and things and the hair would've really gotten in the way. I mean, third movie (first movie without hair) Hermione was swinging around on a vine from the Whomping Willow for goodness sake! With bushy hair you might not have been able to see her face that and it would've hindered her acting ability. While it does differ from the book, I personally don't find her all that different than the Hermione I pictured in my head. And after all, Emma Watson ISN'T really hermione, no one can blame her. Unless you pull Hermione straight from the pages of the novel, she will never be exactly the person anyone wanted her to be. Everyone pictured her differently. Meanwhile, if she IS off in personality, that isn't Emma Watson's fault either, blame the screen writers! Emma is just doing what she's told.

Yeah, I suppose. But the bushy hair wouldn't of gotten in the way, neither would the teeth.
And yeah its not Emma Watsons fault (she couldve improved her acting though). But I still don't like Emma Watson as Hermione, be it the directors fault, her fault, the screenwriters, I don't care. There are more talented girls out there who wouldve been perfectly glad to put on fake teeth and bushy hair.

Very cute! So all this time we thought their first kiss was in the Room of Requirement right before the battle, but really they had been hiding this from us all along.
About Emma Watson, I think she's beautiful and a great actress. I think she does a good job playing brainy Hermione she just doesn't look like her. Honestly, I feel that way about Hermione AND Ron in the movie... Rupert, though attractive, is short and round faced while Ron is supposed to be tall and long faced. Though they don't necessarily look the part, they do a good job with the personality of two loveable characters we've all grown up with, in my opinion.

Aww this is so cute, the BOOK version of Ron and Hermione. ^^ Totally understand what you mean by Emma Watson ruining the character.
I get from the first film that Hermione was a know-it-all and quite snobby which was acted correctly, but Emma Watson was a snobby person to begin with so not much acting was required there. Through each film she hasn't really been acting unlike herself in real life.
Plus the hair! Its supposed to be messy and her front teeth larger but they made her prettier! Its like Harry Potter not having his glasses, it just doesn't work with the character. My friend and me always said its NOT called 'Hermione Granger and the Prisoner Of Azkaban' etc. The way she acts its like she's the main part all the time. ><
Anyway sorry I've ranted a lot haha, just complete agree with you. Your picture is awesome!

Also, that's why I rarely watch the movies of books I like, so I don't get things ruined.

I didn't mind Emma until movie seven. I mean, it's not her fault she ended up so much prettier than Hermione ever was. Though they could have made her hair frizzier and dressed her more like she wasn't overly concerned with her appearance. But will someone PLEASE explain to me why, in the 7th movie, she has limp BLONDE hair!? And why she dresses like a young Manhattan socialite? URGH!

OOOh cute!!! R/Hr is soooooooo absolutelylovelyandadotable! *squeels* I love them in the books and LOVED the little moments in the last movie. (Tho I really think, in my opinion, there is some real HarryHermione trolling going on, I mean the movies focus much more on HHr in certain senses and i do not particularly like that) In the books, RHr is far more apparent and just THERE whereas the movies....yeah i'll stop rambling about it befoir this whole comment box is full XD.
To say though, I have to disagree with you, i like movie Herm, Emma is doing a great job, specially in this last movie. Granted they could have made her more hermy like, specially in the other movies, movie one was the best Hermy portrayal yet with the bushy hair and stuff.
anyway just wanted to say really that i will fave this, seriously it's so cute!

Oh, I feel the EXACT SAME WAY about Hermione's character. And I think what's so great about her is that young girls wanted to be like her because she was smart, and not beautiful. But yep, Emma Watson destroyed her. I can't stand her, Bonnie Wright, or Daniel Radcliffe

Oh I know what you mean. They totally overexaggerate Hermione's lines in the movies. She's basically stealing all of Ron's lines and making her look absolutely perfect. Ron's not stupid, and Hermione's not Dumbledore, I wish Kloves (the screenwriter who's in love with her) would accept that!
The worst part is the lack of bushy hair...I miss her bushy hair D:

I know! Like in Goblet of Fire, when she's telling them all about the Room of Requirement. It's like, okay, DUMBLEDORE didn't even know what it was, how in the world would Hermione know what it was? They make Hermione know everything, and Ron is basically just comic relief

"...and Ron is basically just comic relief "
It's a pity really, Rupert does a wonderful job acting as him. His expressions are priceless. XD But that doesn't mean Ron is just there to be the comic relief. I mean, really! This is Harry freakin' Potter we're talking about, where the characters all grow up. Ron has much more intellect than that. He's supposed to mature and have his "smart" moments as well as funny ones.

R/Hr always!
and as for the EW comment, I think she's a bit over acted, and a bit dissapointed at the lack of "bush" to her hair, but I grew up with both the book and movie Hermy so I'm used to it
