I think Pepe is my favorite Loony Tune. I always found him really funny because he was the only one who really was a lover and not a fighter like all the others.
Clearly he was created for a more mature audience.
Sadly by today's standards in American TV he'd be considered extremely offensive, sexist and a sexual predator. My! How times have changed!

Poor Penelope, she is just so irresistible to Pepe, and has such bad luck, always ending up with that stripe painted on herself.
And Pepe of course is an unstoppable force of nature when he sees a lovely lady.
