It was a situation that just went from bad to worse. Fang, the Goddess of the Jungle, had to deal with an attack on a temple. When she arrived it was not the work of a petty creature or thug. It was worse than that. At first, she thought it was Talia’s handy work, but soon came to learn that the one responsible was the Goddess of Predation, Nefret. Nefret came to seek revenge for what Gaia, Fang’s mother, did to her mother. The former Goddess of the Jungle imprisoned the former Goddess of Predation, after a conflict emerged from them; as a result of a disagreement on the balance between predator and prey. Now in the present, their daughters were now part of that conflict.

Fang was able to defeat two of Nefret’s minions, but it was a bit taxing on her. Soon, the Predation Goddess ambushed Fang from behind. The body of Fang’s enemy began to morph; almost like it was melting. The truth was that Nefret could turn her body into that of a slime or blob creature; which allowed her to envelope her prey in order to devour them. This was a dangerous situation of Fang because this was an opponent that could not be countered through brute force so easily.

Nefret easily enveloped Fang’s right leg, which prevented the Jungle Goddess from moving. As more of Nefret’s slimey body worked on swallowing up Fang, the Predation Goddess smirked.

“I must say, you look good in that new outfit of yours,” Nefret said in a teasing, yet menacing tone, “but you would look so much better wearing me.” She laughed as her body became more blob-like to cover Fang’s body.

“You will not…absorb me!” Fang shouted defiantly as she ripped her arms free; only for Nefret to seize them once again. Soon, Fang’s vision would become dark, as her head would be covered by the slime. If she did not find a way to break free, or help did not arrive in time, it would be inevitable that she would be devoured by Nefret’s physiology; where the Predation Goddess would then work on absorbing her foe completely.

A nice little idea that came out as a result of rps done between me and . Fang has to deal with an enemy Goddess known as Nefret.

Sufficed to say that in this instance, Nefret could cause some trouble if she manages to absorb Fang; which is similar to Majin Buu absorbtion abilities from DBZ. Fang, while a strong Goddess herself, will find escaping Nefret to be far from an easy task.

Regardless, it's a different type of peril and I really like how well Bayliss pulled this off, especially the transparency of Nefret's body encasing Fang's.
