It seemed that with the mistake that Lara made, this was all 'wrapped' up for the snake, as it struck out, planning to start devouring its 'meal'. However, Lara was not one for letting herself be beaten so easily. Reacting quickly, Lara grabbed the jaws of the snake as she would not have had enough time to reach for gun by the time the snake grabbed her head.

Gritting a bit, Lara knew that this was only a temporary solution. She was not physically strong enough to hold off the snake forever. Eventually, it would overwhelm her. She had to think of her options. With both bands on the snake, she could not reach for her gun. She would either have to try and defeat the snake there, and figure a way to kill it physically without her gun, or try and change their positioning.

She could try to grab the snake's skull and crush it, but she had to position the snake first and it was already difficult holding the snake's jaws back. The other option was to roll her body. It, combined with the snake's momentum as it was pushing its jaws towards Lara would push the two off the bed. Now, it would mean that after rolling off the bed she would lose her grip on the snake and it could potentially get her in its maw, but it could give Lara the opportunity to turn the tables.

She had to decide, as she could not hold off the snake for much longer.

Alright, so Lara's got a bit of a reprieval. However, she needs to make her choice. Her options are:

A) Try and fight back and aim towards positioning herself to try and crush the snake's skull.

B) Roll her body and use the moment of herself and the snake to fall off the bed.

Yes, while now I can use polls without being a core member, the limited number of words I can use makes it difficult to word what I want. And yes while I can put down 'Option A' or 'Option B' as options, there's a possibility of people of voting without first reading this part.
