The answer was so obvious to Lara. The option that would have ended this situation and save her a whole lot of trouble was right there before. However, for some unknown reason (or by some unknown force) she opted to not go for her gun; which considering has a smoking barrel and shot a hole in the bed states that it was in fact loaded. After all, the tip of the snake's tail was right next to the dagger, which flicked it away before Lara was able to grab it (honestly who would have thought going for the dagger was the best idea?)

Now Lara was in a bit of a pickle. While the snake lost a coil around her waist, her legs were completely wrapped up and immobilized. If she wanted to move then she would have to use her hips to help her out. To make matters worse, the snake was starting to get hungry. It's jaws opened, poised to strike. Now, Lara had fast reflexes, but this seemed to not be the best time for her; as given she went for the dagger instead of the gun. As she plants her hands on the edge of the bed, the gun still seems to be a viable option. However, she needs to reach for it. With the snake about to strike, she would have two options: A) Grab the snake's jaws or B) Grab the gun.

Here's the second part of Lara's adventure. Seems like some people are anti-gun because dagger got an overwhelming number of votes.

That or they were wanting to make Lara unintentionally throw the fight and lose. For those with this mindset, keep in mind that I do not want this to end so soon just cause you wanna see the gal lose. That's not how this works. Now, it is still a possible outcome, but if people are voting just for the sake of wanting Lara to lose and cut this CYOA short, that robs the fun out of it. This is, peril first, after all and it's worth doing anymore if we can't get past the tutorial.
