The Death Basilisk would be the freak of nature among zoids. It was created by a former zenebas scientist named Dr. Ganz. He was a mad man who attempted many vile experiments that usually involves in manipulating the zoid's core.
The Death basilisk was brought to life when Dr. Ganz got a hold of a republic Whitz Wolf and infused multiple chimera type zoids core into it, causing the Whitz Wolf's core to mutate an alarming rate.
As the experiment progressed, Dr. Ganz even infused a bit of Decalt Dragon's data which caused the zoid to evolve even further. Soon after, he infused a dead organoid into its core, not knowing the consequences of what it would do. The zoid finally showed movement with signs of aggression and an abnormal amount of EM radiating from its body.
It came to the point where Dr. Ganz couldnt control the zoid any longer. It grew too unstable and was impossible to be caged in for long...

------ holy crap! a storyline..well that's new. I just kinda came up with this zoid overnight, just out of impulse. I used it as a starting entry for this contest at a forum. My other entries are still in WIP
