James' wheels spun and slipped as he struggled the train up the hill, steam poring from all different sides. "Come on, come one." he puffed to the coaches, as he puffed harder and harder to get up Gorden's Hill.

So while working on some pictures I was listening to a reorchestrated version of old Thomas music, and the track "James' Triumph" really got me in the mood to draw him, so here is the boy pulling the express, evident by his route discs. Also gave him the blue lines from the book, since I quite like those. Hopefully you all enjoy the variety a little!
