Defining Characteristics and Abilities:
Zan is among the lucky number of UNI who possess abilities beyond their already potent scale-shifting abilities. It is unknown if these abilities are selectively spliced into developing UNI or if their emergence is random, but they nonetheless provide a considerable benefit to their recipient and their society at large.
Zan is able to reach out with her mind, across great distances and past any language barrier to interact and read the thoughts and desires of entire populations of beings, combing through them with a fine-toothed focus. The blindfold she is usually seen in enhances this effect by filtering out unwanted sensory stimulus in preparation for her readings.
This has been put to great use in "weeding out" dissenters in SCR's ever expanding domain, the end result of which is usually the violent dismantling of whatever and whoever she identified as potentially problematic. This is a source of great uncertainty for the soft spoken giantess, as her proclivity to interact with the lesser races of the cosmos gives her a greater understanding of their distress and misery during these events she indirectly causes. The outpouring of emotion is usually enough to drive her from the system entirely if she is present when the purging begins.
This is made even worse by the fact that through the virtue of her ability, Zan has become close to a number of lesser beings over the years, a subject of much derision by her peers, who sometimes claim that she cares more for the company of tinies than her own people. The "ear to the ground" approach she takes when dealing with the flock under her control also influences the scale she takes. It is doubtless Zan, as late late Gen 2, could achieve a much greater maximum if she so desired, but finds such sizes excessive and detrimental for those residing in the system both in space and on planetary bodies.
Overall, those who find themselves on planets to which she has been tasked need not fear any collateral damage and may find many of their specific needs met, but must always watch their step, should they begin to fall into disloyalty and soon after -oblivion.

Well, I tried outlining with a 3B to give it a crisper outline and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! Unfortunately though, uploads will probably be decreasing with the commencement of the Fall semester this September but I will hopefully still be able to get a few out from time to time.
