Cutie Mark: A flower! While Azzy's special talent lies in gardening, he has big dreams of becoming a detective and doing something good in the world.

Personality: Azalea is, and always was, more introverted than his mothers. He was never good at small talks or talking in general, most other fillies and foals didn't share his interest in detective books, shows, and popular, unsolved cases. Did this bother the young colt? No, not really. He didn't mind quiet and not having friends was a plus, no one was keeping him from his own interests and trying to come up with his own theories regarding some unsolved crimes. Yes, there was a small part of him that longed for someone to talk to but, in the end, he has his ma for that. Besides that, Azzy is an intelligent colt who tries his best and doesn't back away in the face of danger, which can be very worrying sometimes. He is still very introverted, soft-spoken, and isolated in his older years but, by then, he got used to it. And he is someone who doesn't like changes, thank you very much, so he will rather stay right where he is and focus on his school and future career. His tone can also sound very sarcastic when he actually speaks but, I can assure you, he doesn't mean to sound that way.

-Was homeschooled from ages 7 to 15.

-Used to be bullied for being the son of Starlight Glimmer. Few ponies still seemed to be stuck on Starlight's past and didn't believe in the progress she has made over the years, with that they have warned their foals to stay away from the "villain". The foals soon started to ignore Azalea, staying away from him as their parents told them to, while some started bullying him, calling him a "villain in making". The young colt kept it to himself for a while, he knew better, his mom wasn't a villain and he will become a hero, a detective, a savior to others. The mothers found out a year later after when the bullying began to get physical and withdrew the young colt from the Ponyville elementary school.

-Soon after, Starlight and Treehugger decided to move to Canterlot, stay by Twilight's side, and explain the situation, in hopes of giving Azalea a fresh start. While Starlight started working as a teacher at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, Treehugger opened her own flower shop.

-Azalea began working with his mom at the age of 9 and gained his cutie mark soon after.

-Starlight Glimmer, knowing full well cutie marks shouldn't mean everything to pony kind, taught her son to not let his cutie mark dictate what he does with his life. "Cutie marks aren't everything you stand for, your future should be something you choose, be it following your cutie mark or doing something completely different." If she hadn't said that all those years ago, Azalea's reaction to his special talent wouldn't be as pretty and calm as it was.

-While Azalea has no pets (his mothers wanted to get him one but he had no interest in it), he does actually have an ant farm that he takes very good care of!

-His best friend is his anonymous penpal Tiny Victory , while they aren't aware of the others' real name or appearance it doesn't make them any less close. Azalea, while he would never admit it, sees the older hybrid as a big brother.
