Another school project. Hierarchy of Angels and Demons from various sources, presented a bit cartoony.

When imagining the angels and their home in heaven, Angelville, I imagine that the powers' station has many wanted posters of demons and their classified sins while propaganda pictures of demons and the devil in the demons' home in hell, Sulfur City have many graffiti because some naughty little demons have defaced the devil's posters and did many graffiti by drawing many bad things on the walls.Β

But cherubins are right above the archangels, as far as I'm aware, meaning they'd be in the third triad.Β
Also, there should be 6 princes of hell... Asmodeus (lust), Beelzebub (gluttony), Leviathan (envy), Mammon (greed), Azazel & Astaroth - they're siblings (Anger/Wrath), Belphegor (sloth) and the 7th prince/sin would be Lucifer/Satan (pride), the king, who'd have 6+ wings for being a seraphim.
As for Sammael... he could be the king himself but who knows.. he has 12 wings, I've never heard of any angel possessing so many wings/being so high in the hierarchy so the chances of him being Lucifer are high.Β

I have some friends that are really into it and I've been reading demon stories since I was 15.
It really isnt that hard to found information about demons but most of them are imprecise so you have to check things over and over and see the patterns like a puzzle. There are a lot of interpretations from all over the world so the most common are the ones I'd consider "accurate" or "real".Β
I don't believe in demons or angels or wtv but it's so interesting... to me it feels like reading about mythical fantastic beings such as unicorns

It all depends on the sources you read and your interpretations of them. I never claimed that anything I created here was exact science or fact.
I would probably create a completely different hierarchy now, than 4 years ago, like this one.

Like I said many times before, according to the books and sites I visited and took inspiration from, Mammon and Belphegor didn't appear as frequently, so I decided to go with this lineup. Archangels are not at the top of the hierarchy. No matter where I searched, they were always closer to the bottom, than to the top, but, as I wrote, they are flexible in the hierarchy.

Actually, angels just have more officers and smaller authorities, while demons have a lot more soldiers.

I have done that piece over 4 years ago and the point of it was, info-graphic illustration, creative design, for my college. That being said, I haven't put so much emphasis on the sources and links.

I though Lucifer was a Seraph, I guess that would make the "fiery serpents" part of the seraphs make a lot of sense?

He was a Cherub by order, but also above the cherubs in a way that he was created special, for special purposes, to serve the favor of God. This is emphasized so that his fall from grace is far greater, than any other Cherub.Β

Well, according to the old scripts and research I've done, they don't have a "guy" inside in any of the depictions. You may have confused it with the drawings of some other people, where they put the wheels of the Ophan around a Cherub. This is the most accurate drawing, according to the texts

Well, I didn't really base my research on catholic, or orthodox, or any other religion in particular to be honest. I searched for orders of angels and demons throughout all religions and when I noticed that a majority of religions mentions the same names (or similar), I picked that certain order, with those names, and expanded my research to them, basically narrowing down the results. I also had to stay away from really complex explanations and I ruled out the angels and demons that had different names for the same entity, so I picked one by myself. I hope that clears it out a bit.
