After "A close encounter ", I wanted to get another chance to photograph this amazing spider in the wild. I was learning how to approach a Lynx spider yesterday , and I think it paid off with this photo. This spider was very lively and very shy. The voyeuristic feeling of this photo is accurate, I really did have to spy on it. I love the detail of the shadow in the lower-left corner. I also love the "war paint" lines that are on its legs and face.
