Dawn by the Citadel; chilly and properly still. The guildship Calle Quentin slips through Monument Gate, concluding a week of movement trials. The lines trailed by the sauropod detail serve less to guide their charge than to confer a measure of security with their reassuring weight.

(A pretty rough sketch which I ended up (trying..) to clean and colour. Inspired by Dinotopia, though not fan art of course (: I wouldn't dare with a world like that, I'd do it zero justice atop of ending up wayyy off canon!

Anyways I'm hoping to really start putting looks together for the most important city out of a handful of which I'll be building over a lifetime. It won't have any dinosaurs in it, but plenty of whimsy and classicalist ornamentation.)
